Well I am new to the forums but this is my second S2k. My first I bought new in 2003 and decided the payment was just too much. But now that S2k's are gettin very cheap (considering 30k + new) I decided to hop back into a real mans car. I bought a 2002 with 50k miles. It has never been modded other than it had an RSR exhuast. Other than that its pretty mint, only two dings in the car(only 1 is truly noticeable) I dont really like the clutch that much so I may be getting something in the next six months. And I hope to fully utilize this forum to find the best mods for what I have in mind. And my name is supposed to be shock hehe, just a little something I always used in the car forums.
The clutch feels ok, but its kinda hard to go from 5th to 6th sometimes. Is this normal or what?

 

I don't know that it would be the clutch keeping you from going into gear? Maybe its the gears in the tranny. Sometimes people who are new to the S (I realize this is not your first one but) are not used to the shift pattern. The transmission works very well if you shift in the pattern it wants you to. Perhaps in an attemp to not go into reverse (even though there is a reverse lockout) you are not shifting straight into 6th. Just a thought.
