Default Picked up a S2000 shell. "clean slate" begins :)

Hello, my name is Logan, and I am normally a hardcore Rx-7 guy. I felt it was time to change it up a bit, and I could not pass up a great deal on a S2000 shell I found here. So now its sitting waiting for the beginning. One thing for sure, I like this site, and hopefully I will do something cool to my S and get to know everyone better! I am also the Co-owner of Defined Autoworks, in Ohio. So if any of you guys need some performance work or dyno time, feel free to let me know!

Its definitely a close challenge between the two. Considering the S2000 is a convertible, yet still very rigid, is impressive. I like how the FD uses all aluminum suspension arms, and spherical rod ends. However the FD also places the gas tank behind the rear axle line, vs the s2k putting the tank right on the axle line. Suspension geometry is a bit more old school proven on the FD with no active rear steer etc, but I am learning that the S2k can be compensated in this area from more than a few companies. If looking at time attack results the S is a tad behind the 7 at the moment, but then again there is n/a s2000's running within 2 seconds of the turbocharged S's and 7's. Once I get mine up to speed I definitely will do more back to back testing to compare more accurately. So far I have only driven friends s2k's and you have to hold back quite a bit when its not your car But I like them for sure!
