I'm still less than a month into the S2000 ownership experience and I must say that I've been enjoying it immensely — what a fantastic car. It is, as they say: memorable. It's obvious that I'm not the only one who feels this way. For quite some time now I've been trying to learn as much as I can about the car, including spending a fair amount of time scouring the web for information (this site is obviously one of the best resources). One thing that I've found rather entertaining is how often my searches for S2000 related information has lead to content regarding the Mazda Miata. It seems that there are a lot of folks that continue to compare the Miata to the S2000. It's interesting that the S2000 is still serving as the benchmark even though it has not been in production for over eight years now. I think that this goes to show that the S2000 was a great achievement of engineering and design which definitely made a lasting impression on people. Pretty cool.
