Looks awesome. I'd like to use my tonneau but I like to put the soft top up when it is parked in a lot.

I was going to install Clazzio seat covers this evening but the red is too different for me to accept. They are fine seat covers and nothing against Clazzio but it is just too different for my taste and I am not changing the door card leather to match. I am just going to buy some leather filler cream and perfect the cracks in the driver's side bolster because the seats are otherwise great. Impulse buy I guess and I am not known for that.

I was looking into the OEM cargo net for that exact purpose myself. It says to enlarge the holes to 8mm after removing the original clips; is that drilling into the body sheet metal or just enlarging the liner itself?

@Deckoz Good suggestion on the terry towels. I didn't even know that was a thing so thanks.

I only fixed and dyed the driver's side bolster so the rest of the seats are original color. I wasn't 100% happy with the result but that's on me. I can do a better job and will.

Interested to see how it turned out; I’m in a similar situation.

Thanks for clarification, doesn’t seem like as big of a deal now. One thing I did note is that it doesn’t instruct you to use touch-up paint in the instructions; I found that odd.

Deckoz - thoroughly impressed with what you've done especially in such a short period of time. I feel like you should you should create a dedicated restoration sticky. I think it would be helpful to many current and future owners to freshen up their aging Hondas!

This is a short article documenting my first attempt. I am going to try it again with some dye-able leather filler cream from Leatherique. I wish it was available on Amazon because I hate paying more in shipping than the product costs.

If you have a free moment could you post a picture of that terry towel cover installed on the seat?

Deckoz noob question but how can I check the engine VIN when going to see the car today? Is it on the bottom or can I find it from the top?

Nice work. Amazing condition. What state did that car live in?

Check the U molding around the rear wheelwells to make sure they haven't cracked and started rusting. (Mine were starting to swell in a few spots so I just took them off and never replaced them)

I still say just reading about what you do to your car makes me tired. I have to admit that it gives me inspiration! When I see something that may need attention I ask myself, "WWDD?"
