I watched that series. I believe that he was the guy that said that whites were the toughest of all colors to match perfectly. Left me a bit bummed thinking about when the day comes later on that I'll likely want to get my front bumper resprayed. Ah well, such is life.

Consider hoist instead of stand. Easy on, and easy off. One man job takes about 5 minutes.

Just out of curiosity - what is the best way to go about cleaning the exterior surface of the headliner? I am reluctant to touch it at all because it isn't particularly dirty, but it does pick up some dust etc. over time.

I drive my 02 a lot for 6 months and then it goes away. It is a sad day when it goes into storage. I live it a wonderful area for the S. Unlimited winding paved country roads in Vermont and New Hampshire surround my home. I just can't help myself. Unless its raining, I always take the S. Over the last couple of years I have learned to drive it much better than I did at the start. It loves to be up in the rpm range, and it took me a while to adapt to that. I love this car.

This thread has me wondering whether I really need to have my 03. Its there so that I will have a low mileage S to turn to when I retire in about 4 years. I don't know, maybe I should sell one of them now. Nah, I'll never have the energy or skill that you do with these cars. It really is impressive. I'lll just stick with the plan. Drive the heck out of the 02 for 4 years, and then sell it and start again with the 03. It will be fun getting it set up and running the way I like it.

That photo was taken from a great angle. The more I look at those AP1 16" wheels, the more I like them, and I liked them quite a bit to begin with.
