hey guys. new to the forum. i currently drive an 04 350z automatic. i've done about every bolt on mod that can be done. intake, exhaust, upgraded valve body, and got a tune. made 261hp/241tq. anyways it's about time to get rid of the auto and move on to a fun ride. the auto is quick, dont get me wrong, but i'd love to have a 6 speed. so now im looking for some. i have my eyes on 2 cars.

1. another Z.. (6 speed)
2. a 6 speed s2k.

i've always had a thing for s2k's. just love how they weigh nothing and still have a good amount of power. especially for a 4 cylinder.

i need help though. i have around 14k to spend. there are several, "what seem to be", good deals around.. but i just wanted to know if there are any things to keep an eye out for? for example, the 2003 350z's had bad synchros in the transmissions. any info on things like that that go on with s2ks would be great.

theres a Silver 03 with 65k, for $13,900 that i've been looking in to. 6 speed. don't really know any of the trims or differences.
i dont know a thing about these. and hopefully i can learn some before i get into serious looking for the car.

There aren't too many problems like that when it comes to s2ks. And weight wise.. They're not as light as people think

 

get a s2k.

 

If you find any S2000 that ISN'T a 6 speed, then there is definitely something wrong with it.
