I'm not surprised your Ford was a piece of shit. People always make fun of my Honda del sol because the small engine lacks power and it burns oil but its broken down only once in the last five years than my friends 2015 Ford that he got brand new. Nothing beats the reliability and the icing is how easy they are to work on.

What things in particular? I would have thought that a Del Sol would be somewhat similar to a CRX, which I've owned in the past.

Drive noise mostly, and of course things common to Honda in general. burning oil, oil starvation causing problems in piston 4, rusted easily if not garaged. It's ten years newer so I could go on.
