It'll take me awhile to save te cash. Is the difference really that great between that low miles and one with a few more?

#1 Seems a little much for a Rebuilt title and the mileage.
#2 In my opinion is a great deal on an AP2. I paid 12k for an '01 with the same mileage.
#3 Seems reasonably priced.
#4 I personally wouldn't pay that much for one with that kind of mileage

thanks for all the input!

on #1, besides all the decals, he said that 5th and 6th sycros are all messed up and only ork when you know how to shift.

is this a common problem? any clue how to fix?

also this one really has me interested

I'd probably pass on the one with messed up synchros... usually people just swap in an entire transmission when the synchros have issues or need replacing, which would add to the cost. If the red '01 were clean title, it'd be a good deal. Rebuilts can be potentially troublesome, depending on the reason for the rebuilt title. IMO, it's definitely worth a little more $$ or higher mileage for a clean-car clean-title, it just takes some time to find a good car + good price. Good luck & welcome to the site!

PS - Nice MR2, I love those things!

Not sure what kind of exhaust that is, but the car looks good to me. The only problem with me is that they don't show pictures of the engine bay, but that's something you can take a look at once you see the car in person. Under $10K for 127K miles IMO is a pretty good deal. Idk if it's your area or not, but I got my MY03 with 103K miles for $12.1K and that was cheaper than what others are going for here in southern California. In the end you can't really tell unless you see it in person and take it for a test drive. Always worth it to see it in person. Good luck!
