Proud new owner of a 2000 Silverstone
Hello everyone, just wanted to have my presence felt on this great forum! I just turned 23 in August and as a birthday present to myself I bought this car
It has about 73k miles on the odometer, it's bone stock, and is in absolutely PRISTINE condition.
Over the past couple of years I've been yearning to buy a nice car, and I wanted to buy a new VW GTI, used BMW M3/Audi S4, or something of that nature for sure. I never considered a S2000, EVER (or any other Japanese car for that matter). But I recently made some new friends who drive Evos, Nissan 240s, etc., who ultimately got me hooked on to the S2000. This car is simply amazing (everything from the handling to the ergonomics of the cockpit are spot on!), and I can't believe the staggering number of people who over-look this car who're in the market for a new vehicle, or don't even know what it is. 2 out of 3 people at my work don't know Honda made such a car, and I personally think that it's a good thing for us S2000 owners. People always have the look of "WHOAA, WHAT IS THAT?" on their faces every time I'm at a stop light or stuck in traffic
Bottom line: I love this car and this forum/community. I'll be doing some mods in the near future so stay tuned!
