Default Q From a soon 2b S2k owner

Hello from southeast Michigan.

I will be a S2000 owner soon, and would like some last minute review of the car I've just placed a down payment on.
Should I be worried about anything with this car?

The car is beautiful, and has low miles (13.5k!!) but I get the impression that it's slightly riced out.
I know that it has an AEN cold air intake, and some stainless exhaust (probably Tanabe based on the sticker). Some cool 'S' badges . It also has some kind of body kit. I'm not a fan of the way it was put on... looks like it has some phillips head screws along the top that were painted over. There are also a couple of extra guages: A shift light, just screwed into the dash with what look like wood screws and some kind of vacuum guage .

Any idea if these are tasteful or tasteless mods?
I'm not too worried about the body stuff. I can remove it, bondo & repaint the car if I decide it's too gawdy.

I hope you're getting it for a lot less than the asking price.

As far as I can tell .. the body kit is just the side skirts and what seems like a couple of bolt on skirts to the oem rear bumper... the front seems to have the oem lip kit which imo is quite nice. ...I have no idea what that gauge on the dash is for ... it almost looks like a speed gun but I doubt thats it ... As for un ricing out your car ... get rid of that sticker on the front bumper and I think youre set ... The AEM is for sure a tasteful mod. The tanabe exhaust sounds great but I hear its got a bit of a drone when cruising .. I think finding an 01 with that kind of mileage is hard so I wouldnt be thrown away by these minor fixes. No accidents reported either which is a definite positive too..
The asking price ... well in Canada is a steal ... cant really tell you whether its worth it in the US...

I had them knock a grand off the asking price. To me, that seemed enough. I like that it's an Ap1, and insurance is cheaper on an older model.

The gauge that I'm not sure about is pictured here, underneath the dash. I'm almost certain the one that's on top is a shift light.

Thanks for the opinions.
