"Is this real life?"
That was my best friend's reply, whom I had sent a picture of my (new to me) set of keys to from the dealership. He was at Mid-Ohio for ITRExpo. I was supposed to have gone but the week prior I was involved in an accident (Tundra vs. 3-series... Tundra wins) and had to deal with that issue.
I'm Sean, I'm 26 and from Spartanburg, South Carolina. I have loved the S2000 since its introduction but have had to wait patiently for the financial ability to get one. So yeah I bought a 2005 Suzuka Blue.. 72k on the clock... and I am still pinching myself.
It's been a while since I've been active on forums. My job and full time student status sap away at my time. I should be using my time for productive activities... like posting on forums (right?). I used to be an admin on JDMCivic.com I don't know if any old internet friends will resurface... regardless I hope to make new ones.
I don't plan on modifying this car too much, mostly I just want to enjoy it as is. I'll probably add a Gendron bar and get some tires for the new B Street SCCA class.. maybe do a DE or three. The aforementioned BMW was a '96 328i, partially prepared for STX (coilovers, front sway, wheels/ZIIs). Before that I had a 240sx for a year or two with an SR20DET and I took it drifting.. and before that was a smattering of Civics. The S2000 is kinda a "return to my roots" with the Hondas. While my own tastes align with the track cars/OEM sports cars/the functional and performance sort.. I actually write articles for Stance:Nation.com. I'm very open minded to automotive representation.
I've been a lurker for a while, this site truly is a wealth of information. I just need internet friends b/c I lost all my e-cred yo.
I have no real photographs of it.. I'll get some soon. I look forward to getting to know everyone, learning, and helping as much as I can.

Wow! That's definitely an opportunity I'd like to consider. Currently I'm super swamped so I'd hate to take on the extra responsibility and not be able to deliver. I hope that's an open invitation for when my life frees up a bit
