Welcome to the site.

All S2000's are manual transmissions. As far as problems with the early years, there weren't too many (I think). Some things I have noticed: Plastic rear window, top latches make noise, and a little oil burning. I know there are more things, just do a little research to find other common problems.

BTW - Good luck with your S2000 purchase, you might be able to haggle a little on $18k.

That price is quite high. You should be able to get to 16 or high 15s.

Welcome.
