S2000 = Ultimate Permagrin
Thanks again. The wheels are actually 7.5 in. wide and either a 35 or 45 mm offset. What is stock?
As for the plugs, is there an easy way to tell if the plugs are the updated versions? Different P/N or something?

^ excellent.
As for the plugs... There is a different part number (that might be on the TSB -- if you click each of those 3 pages you can expand them -- click a couple of time), but you'd still have to pull the plugs to look at them. If you're gonna do it, you might as well just get a set from your dealer (or look into aftermarket Iridiums or something). What you could do is just take your torque wrench and make sure they're secured at 18 lb-ft. From the factory, they were at, I ithink, 13 lb-ft, and that turned out to be too low.

Beanolo: Yes the wheels are 18 X 8.5 Enkei RS7s that the prior owner put on. The tires are 225-40/18s and the fronts rub the fenders slightly when the suspension conpresses during cornering on not-so-smooth surfaces. I've already worn off two plastic rivets on the driver's side that hold on the plastic inner fender cover. I'm not sure if the offset on the wheels is wrong, or the width of the tires/rims, or possibly the aspect ratio of the tires. The set of wheels/tires is basically brand new, so I may just live with them and Goop the inner fender cover.
I hope you don't mean 18x8.5, 225/40/18 all around, as that would be bad. If the previous owner didn't bother to run a staggered setup, I am almost certain your offsets are wrong, especially if you are rubbing too.
Might want to check this ASAP.
Yes, the offset IS way off. I did the research on it last night, and the wheels only come with a 35 or 45 offset. So, I'm going to talk with Discount Tire and ask them why they would sell wheels to a customer that they knew would rub; just to see if they might be willing to do something for me. I'm not holding my breath.
Yeah, that's pretty off, man. Good luck getting things straightened out.
