Default S2000 from Alaska!

Hey guys, so last year I introduced myself but I think I didn't exactly make a good introduction.
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/947...#entry21633818
So in october of 2011 I picked up a mint, unmolested 02 sebring/red interior from an older person(mid-late 40's) with 41k miles. 2 days later after I picked up the car I blew the motor by over reving it and threw a rod through the side of the block(me being stupid.)

I had to work hard to get it running and finding a block was a hard task because of where I live. At the end of last winter I finally found a block in good condition and I decided to replace every gasket, including head gasket and ARP headstuds. I got to drive the car all last summer and I felt in love with the car!

I am on this site at least every day since I got the car and I spend at least couple of hours lurking the forums lol. I became very knowledgeable about this car including what mods do or don't do anything, what fluids to use, etc. Not a lot of s2000's here in AK but I tried to give all the advice I can to 2 of my friends with s2k's or others I come across. My car will remain stockish for a while since I just started college and shipping up here is insanely expensive!!!

Right now I'm gona switch all my fluids to Amsoil/ATE super blue and order the new Dunlop ZII. Later on the road I'm planning to pick up a Ptuning kit but won't be for a while. Anyways, enough with the talking and time for some pics!

I was never a big fan of the entire red interior.. I'm happy you got your car back running, must have been a hell of a road.

Yea was not fun, that's for sure lol. I have found a motor that was in not good condition but I was like...hey, I'll just take it to a machine shop and get it honed and bored over. Then I read the horror threads about our FRM sleeves...
