I'm planning on getting a s2000 in the next week or 2. I'm looking at 04-05 s2k right now. I have 10k saved up and i want to put down around 5-7k depending on the final OTD price.

This would be my first car purchase and I have a 700+ credit score. I'm out of college and I really want to give myself a grad present for my hard work in school. There won't be a cosigner, I'm paying for this all myself. What kind of price can I be looking at for a 04-05 sk2? in my area 10% for TTL.

Can I negoiate a deal for 22k OTD for an 04 with 14k miles? They're asking price is $24,888? What kind of interest rate should I be expecting? I'm hoping at least 7% or less. Btw I'm in the nor cal area. Thanks. I hope to have one by next week

I just bought a 04 rio yellow with 16k miles on the clock for $21,800 USD from a private original owner. Car was a late inservice date so lots of warranty left.

was that straight cash? or did you borrow if so, what was your interest rate?

For reference. I got my 2005 s2k with 6000 miles on the clock for $23844 originally listed at $25.9k

Also got 6.29% financing with a credit score over 700

Good luck with your purchase... You sound just like me when I bought mine. New college grad (class of 2006), same credit, but i put more down

Mine was straight cash deal, but my interest rate would have been 5.25% if i had wanted to borrow the money against my line of credit.
