S2000 Market Prices
Cool - I'll plan to talk with you soon.
Its weird car shopping - I can be pissed off that a donut is 20 cents more than it should be but that last few hundred dollars on car pricing seems to slip thru unnoticed.
MORE DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to tell you guys right now. the Pontiac Solstice GXP and the Saturn Sky Redline are going to eat up the sale of the S2000. If you wait until the GXP and the Redline become mainstream (can get for MSRP), you are going to see the S2000's new prices drop tremendously. I'm not saying they are any better, but they will force the S2000 in a price war because they are offerings that are directly competing with the S2000's price and performance.

and to that I most humbly say........bullshit!
Go to Temple of VTEC website and pull out annual sales figures for the S2000. Between 2002 and 2003, there was a significant drop in sales. Why would there be if 02 and 03 are exactly the SAME model? I have 2 words for you: Z4 and 350Z, both released in 2003. They competed against the S2000 on potential customers' wallets.
The same thing will happen in 2007. Smart consumers who are shopping for a $30k 2-seater vert are going to cross-shop; that's a fact of life. The added GXP and Redline offering are going to sway some/many consumers to buying those instead of the S, 350Z, Z4..
i just picked up an 07 gpw red/blk interior for 35230 (approx) OTD price. this was just over a week ago. im in cali.
i also had a quote from cerritos honda for 32XXX (includes destination) + tax n stuff. but stopped haggling and ended up buying from the other place because i knew the seller personally.

I'm looking for either an 04 or 05 and was wondering what ya'll thought would be a good OTD price.
I'm in texas and I think tax is like 8.25
I found a NFR 05 with4582k on it for 29995 which seems way to high
A Grey 05 w 8.9k for 24
A Yellow 04 with 35k for 22k
Or a silver 05 with 10k for 24.
How far do you think I could get these prices down seeing how it is mid november and they are each at least 2-3 years old.

Yes, way too high on the NFR05. The others seem good.
I think you're at a good point with those other cars. Ultimately, find the car that speaks best to you, and be comfortable with a price. I recommend that you find the color you're looking for. It's more important than folks often think.
