Default Is a s2000 right for me

Hey guys i'm new here and thinking about getting a used s2000 something like a 01-03 ish. I've been wanting one for a while but just dont know if its right for me. I really wanted a coupe and it came down to 350z or s2000 and i finally narrowed it down to a s2000. The thing is that i live in washington and it tends to rain here..like a lot and this car will be my daily driver to work etc. and i do commute a good amount. My current car is a 06 subaru wrx and the all wheel drive really handles the climate around here well but it just doesnt seem like the right car for me. I was wondering if anyone here uses the car as a daily driver and some pretty heavy rain? thnx for the help

dude i am from washington too. 06 wrx sounds more like a daily driver than s2k. there are actually quiet a few people who spun out due to rain. if i were you i would keep wrx. it's new awd and going to be a daily.

You can always add a hardtop for the real wet season.

S2k's with worn tires are horrible in the rain. Be careful.

Keep the WRX for a DD, get the S as a toy.
We get monsoons here in FL in the summer, which usually flood the roads, my old WRX handled it well as I didn't have to change the way I drove (Rain vs. dry) With the S I am more careful when it gets wet. But my S isn't a DD, and my commute is like 11 miles total.

As a side note 2002 had some changes you might find worthwhile. 03'd have been said to be the favorite/most l sought after.
