test drove both already......... (drove the s2000 a couple times) still quite concerned about vandalism, theft on the s2000. just got a condo though (starting to move in slowly) so now it will be safe in a garage for most of the time. no snow here. it rains, lots of fog, and temps gets as low as 38

more gas, more maintenance, less life.
i feel like someone in your situation would also be in for the long haul...

s2k vtec motor with perfect history
less gas, less maintenance, etc.

but i mean, on the other hand of practicality, an s2k can carry nothing but you while an impreza is, well, a sedan.

we got my GF an 2008 accord so practicality is not an issue. i found a yellow one in oregon on autotrader i think i am going to go with. i will check with honda on monday to see if any maintenance was done at honda. just hope there isnt snow in between here and portland, oregon. hopefully is isnt sold by the time i am ready to purchase.

The S2000 is a blast to drive no doubt. But one of my buddies says that his old Impreza RS was the funnest car he has ever driven. The RS loves to slide around corners. Then it just grips and goes. He abused his so much, and it kept on going. He now owns an Evo and has a 700+hp Talon. So for him to say an RS is more fun to drive is quite interesting.

hello again, so i did not get into the nursing program this semester like i hoped. i am down to 2 cars to replace my CRX.
Sorry to hear that, I hope you get in next term. My daughter is going for her CRNA. She wants a new car, but I advised that can come after graduation... I suggest keeping the CRX running until after you get that RN; then go ahead and get both Sorry it's the dad in me, I tell my kids, education first. Best wishes.

thanks for the advice. i work in the medical field now and i do have an associates degree already. unfortunately, my credits did not transfer and i had to start all over. the s2000/impreza is to help with my relaxation/ stress/ depression and to keep me motivated. also, the safety factor is a big reason also why i want to get something much safer then my CRX. GF wants me to have something safer. i wouldnt mind keeping the CRX but i am concerned about theft, reliability, and safety.
