S2k fan, new to the site
Hello,
My name is Patrick and I'm a new member, but I have been lurking here reading threads for the last couple months. I've been a car nut my whole life and an S2000 fan since the first time I saw one in a magazine. I was strongly considering purchasing one a couple years ago, but I decided I wanted something a bit bigger and I purchased a 2005 CTS-V, which I still own. I absolutely love my V and it has been an excellent car, but the S2000 bug is biting hard and I have the Caddy listed for sale on a few sites. Once it sells I'm pretty determined to purchase an S2k. The first S2000 I ever drove was a silverstone 05 and that's exactly what I'll be looking for when I start shopping. The thing I love most about the S2000 is, while it's certainly not the fastest car on the road,it makes every drive fun. My V is a monster, I love the torque and I love that for a 4000lb brick it's damn quick, but on runs to the grocery store it's kind of boring. I want a car that engages me not only on weekend trips to the mountains but also on the daily commute and I know an S2000 will do that.
There are lots of great threads here, I've learned a lot already. I peruse the for sale section often, there are some gorgeous cars on the market right now. I look forward to becoming an owner soon!
