how much do your trust your ability to drive a powerful rwd car in the rain or snow?
It's no Z06 that's for sure.

No its not, but 240 hp is more than enough power to send you into a ditch when the pavement is warm and dry, nevermind when its cold, wet, or covered in ice - respect the car's power and rwd dynamics.

Yea.......its not so much the HP just the quirky powerband. I find it easier to drive a car with torque. Once you get used to it its not so bad but it is common to think hey this car isnt that powerful and then shift at 9k and get on the gas in VTEC around a corner and you could end up in trouble if you dont know whats comming!

They are two totally different cars.
Depending what climate you live in, this might be a bad decision for you unless you have a daily driver. Otherwise, I love my S2, and you will too.

go ahead and do it. There are a lot of people who drive their s in the winter, and rain is fine as long as you are careful. good luck with the decision man, be safe.
