hey i've been running my car and it goes pretty well everything is going well but for some reason the maintenance required sign shows why is that?

 

The maintenance required light is just a reminder that you are due for an oil change. It's just a mileage counter. The dealership usually turns this off for you when you get an oil change.

You can turn this off yourself. While the car is off, hold onto the trip button. Continue to hold it while you turn the key to the on position w/o starting the car. Continue to hold the button for 10 more seconds or so and the light should turn off.
