Hi guys, I have been looking into buying a S2000 for a couple years now and I think now is finally the time to get one. I found one for sale locally and was wondering if you guys thought it looks like a good deal or not. Its a 2000 with 88k miles. Silver with black interior all stock. The thing I like about it is that he put the newer top on it with the glass rear window and it is only a year old. Also he put on the front lip spoiler, rear spoiler and side skirts to make it look like a newer S2k. The car appears to be very clean however I have only seen pictures so far. He is asking 10,900. Assuming nothing is wrong with it when I go to look at it and it doesnt need anything do you guys think this is a good deal?

 

Considering he can trade it in for $9,100 (kbb.com good condition) if nothing is wrong with internals. Private seller value is $10,900 as listed on kbb.com so I think it's a good deal, just test drive it to make sure.

 

Thanks for the response. I am going to check it out in a couple days. Since it has 88k miles on it is there any expensive scheduled maintenance that I will run across quickly if I purchase it? I have owned multiple civics/accords and having to get the timing belt done at a certain mileage is a pain.
