If i can add a bit of odd comparison... my STi (which was a boy) was that good bud, drinkin buddy maybe, who you always want to have around in a bar brawl cuz he'll have your back and straight choke slam some dudes.... the S2000 on the other hand, is that smokin hot chic that you really have to work your magic on, try to be sweet to her face, but in fact you just wanna break down shotgun style and.... well you get the point... that's about as good as i can put it....
Make it an even fight and add a turbo to the S. Then see what happens

Yes that will come sooner or later i'm sure of it, i've had the car a month and i'm already shopping turbo kits! No doubt with a turbo i'd never look back to the STi, my only complaint about the Honda is the power. Other than that, love it, however, as my only car, it does leave a little bit lacking. Just gotta give the daily driver points to the STi is all.

I guess this all depends on what car will fit your lifestyle better. I think the s2000 and STI compliment each other well and would make a good pair for someone that could daily drive an STI and use the s2000 for fun. In your case though, its going to be a tough choice since you can only choose one vehicle.

A happy ending here. I picked up an '00 Silverstone AP1 with 83k miles on it this weekend! Its been parked out in the sun all of its life so the rear plastic window is completely useless (time to shop for a hard top), the front bumper is completely faded from a previous repaint gone wrong (more reason for a body kit), and the driver side seat has a tear in the leather (gonna get a race seat)... Its never been modded previously and everything checked out with a clear title.

paid $7800 so i'm extremely happy.

My wife said she might learn how to drive stick so I can keep both the STI and the S2000. We'll see how that goes.

wow, that is good price.
Good thing you have a choice keeping both cars.

Look at my sig.

But I really would have kept my STi if it hadn't been hydrolocked

$7800?? Nice and welcome....back?

I have a 2003 AP1 and a new 2010 STi Special Edition. I can't bare to get rid of the S2000, but I drive an hour to work each way and it just wasn't the right car for that any more.
