Default Stolen S2k in South Florida

Someone came to our gated community in the middle of the night and pushed the car out of the driveway. Funny thing, the neighbor called and reported our car in the street. By the time police got there, it was gone.

Can't miss it - if it's not chopped up - has a dented left bumper, looks like someone punched it like a marshmallow. Silver, red and black seats. Let me know if you have seen something like that. Reward!

UGH >< hate to hear this happen so much back in south florida, seems the thievs know they can get away with it, i say we declair martial law and make a few of those ****ers eat the curb. 2-way alarm, motion sensing flood lights, cameras, and a 9mm. If the lights go off then so does the gun.... sorrry to hear your misfortune. I wish the cops would put a fraction of the effort they do into car theft as they do into speeding, prostution stings and drug busts.

That's why I will never own a car again without an alarm that has cellular paging for a 16 point shock sensor and lojack. If the the car moves at all call lojack and they will GPS that ish in minutes.

I lost my car in October to theives from the train station and I'll never take the same chance again.

I think most of the time thieves push it out of the driveway, hook it up to the tow vehicle, and they're gone.

It's way more time-consuming to bypass the immobilizer, break out the steering column, and drive it away.

The fuel cut-off is a good idea, but will only work in certain situations.

To the OP: I'm very sorry to hear about your car. Don't be discouraged from getting another one. It's still one of the greatest production cars ever made!
