Default suzuka '03 checking in

I just got my zuka two weeks ago. It's an '03 with 43k and it already started giving me problems , a little kangarooing (already adjusted throttle cable since it was a little loose), idle dropping to 400-700 rpms ( still reading threads on how to fix it) and today it gave me the infamous p1456, took off gas cap and put it back on sloooooowly and then reset the ECU (hopefully that fixed it). I also just replaced spark plugs with NGK Iridiums (found oil on the spark plug "washers", so I guess i need to replace the spark plug seals? ), changed trans oil with GM friction modified, the Diff. with Mobil 75/90 (found some metal shavings ) and a huge Spectre air intake filter (I know... I know.. its not Fujita). This is my first Honda and I bought it because of fun/reliability combination the S2k offers, although right not it has not been fun because of all the little surprises the car has been giving me... oh well.. maybe it just needs more vtek and for me to open up my wallet or maybe an extended warranty? see yall around houston!

You're not the only one having issues.. I have the same year and color and mine seems to be the money pit lately. I had to replace the clutch master cylinder and now I have to get my driver side window regulator replaced! Then yesterday a rock hit my windshield on the tip of the passenger side and it made a huge crack My car just needs all kinds of attention but I have to keep her maintained
