Default Swapped GC Owner thinking about an s2000

So I currently have a version 2 wrx swapped Gm8 (USDM 2.5RS coupe w/ JDM WRX swap), but I'm thinking in a year or so about moving onto a S2000. I'm a former Honda head and honestly the low grunty nature of the EJ20 motors isn't really my style. I'm currently doing research, but I'm fairly certain I want a non-DBW AP1 with ITB's. I think NA-T honda's are too contrary to the entire point of the cars and while I know that I'd be downgrading immensely in the power department (265whp @ 5200 feet ~300@ sea level),the allure of power is starting to dissipate in favor of superior handling. I would need to drive the car in snow with real snow tires, but 100% on the highway, doable? I used to have a sc300 without any LSD and barely made it through a winter, but the S2000 has a rear LSD correct?

Anyone got some suggestions? input? Any years in particular I should be aiming for? I'm going to be autoXing this car as well as DDing it (6-7k miles a year).

So far I've got something plotted out as follows:

AP1
TWM ITB's
BC Cams
Headers (research needs to be done)
2.5"-2.75" Exhaust w/ test pipe (research needs to be done...CAN'T ****** stand fart cannons)
Hondata
Coilovers (research needs to be done...prob. external resevior types)
chassis bracing (roll bar (counter the lack of B pillars)/strut bars/sways/endlinks)
17x8/17x9 RPF1's staggered
Shine Auto Spoon Replica Hardtop
AP2 Front lip

Thoughts? Am I headed in the right direction? I'm still in college/beginning grad school so I don't really need a practical car yet

The s2000 has an LSD from the factory and you should be fine in the winter as long as your not driving through massive amounts of snow. You will need snow tires though.

I would say do not consider the TWM ITB's, I read every now and then that they stick and the butterfly will remain open. Look into Jenvey or Hayward or even Toda. I myself am leaning towards the Jenveys

We just picked up a 2.5rs coupe for Monica great car
Anyyear before 06 will be good since you dont want DBW.
AP1/AP2 is an endless debate and it just comes down to preference.
ITB's if you really want them go JENVEY get in contact with LAW (has group buy through emrald performance & its the best deal you'll get unless you try to find them used)
Cams- are a big waste of money on an N/A s2k IMO do your research ( you will probably agree with me after that)
Headers this is a inline4 engine (pet peeve? ) we only get 1 header..
Exhaust w/ test pipe - general consensus on this is that 70mm will net you the best gains all around
Hondata the best!

Welcome to the forums glad to see there are still some N/A people coming to this car

I just helped my neighbor locate and buy a 2.5 RS sedan (white). That car is awesome! He's saving $$ to swap the motor.

welcome to s2ki.
