Tiger1964 intro, and about pricing
I bought a new 2007 black/black in Clarksville, IN (near Louisville KY) last Saturday for $29,000 ($31,154 OTD). In hindsight I think I could have gotten another $300 - $400 off that price. That price was made possible by the Honda to Dealer $2,000 rebate that ends today (July 31) unless extended. I was primarily looking for used (2003 - 2004) but found this price acceptable considering the low volume of used S2000's (no black ones) in my area.
Thanks for all the pricing input -- lots of dealers responding, most so far are acknowledging that selling price is about $29K flat plus tags, tax, fees, wheel locks (sheesh). I thought I'd spend an easy 30 days selecting a car... I'll be lucky to have an empty garage bay through the weekend.

Just back from dinner with a couple from our Miata club, a nice drive through the country in two roadsters. I think i'm going to like this car (even more after breaking in the engine!).
Well you can always buy a membership
Congrats on the purchase, S2000 owners are really cool and the car is not too different from what you're used to, I saw one British car review journal on YouTube that even called the S2000 the modern version of an old British roadster (i.e. with reliability).
