Default Value of AP1

So I've been looking at entering the s2k community for a little while now but i could use some help declaring worth of some of the local vehicles. My best odds for my price range are getting an AP1 that's a little beat up and making it a mini project (which i would enjoy anyway ). Now for my first contestant:

2000 s2000 blk w/ black/red interior
hes asking 9900 with the stock wheels for it.
Single Owner with 79k miles
Has cosmetic issues like destroyed convertible top, seat wear, some bumber dents, and it looks like slight paint fade in a few areas.
clean title

now what would YOU offer for it?
thanks guys

Btw, he should offer 9900 with the Volks. That thing needs a lot of TLC. I mean really...

It needs...

- Soft-Top...
- Front Bumper
- Rear Bumper Tow-Hook Cover
- Rear H badge
- Engine Maintenance by guessing how it looks...
- Full Detail (Good 2-3 days worth...)

I've seen some S' sell for around that price, and they were in wayyy better shape than that car.

Get the price down or pass.

Did he ever replace the air filter? I would wonder if fluids got changed on time (or at all).

Sad to see an s treated like that. Hopefully someone gets it and shows it some love.

well hes been rather slow at responding but i asked if he would be willing to trade for my much cleaner trans am + cash... if he wont budge or wants a lot with the trade ill forget it. if he can be reasonable, then i could work it out. i should mention that i have 2 mechanics in the family + we know an interior guy that told me to find one with a beat up top/seats so he would re-do them. even still, not sure if the negligence this s got is worth toying with it.. ill keep you guys posted

also, most other cheap ones around here are rebuilts or high mileage but i have time to wait for a good one to come my way

That number is quite high. You could fly someone in and get him to replace it for less.
