What is going on
So I am in Iraq for the 4th time of my life, and am looking to get a new toy. I an having a little trouble with choosing which one to have. I had a STI and loved it, she was my baby. Now that I am older I am kinda looking for a roadster, my picks are MX-5, 350Z and yes the Honda S2000. So is the S2000 really the best one?Well I ust need some help with the pros and cons.
there are a lot of threads here on s2ki that outline the differences. Use the search feature up top and you'll find them easily.
Welcome...and oh yeah, I own both cars...if I could only have one of the two, i would keep the s2000

Best is always highly subjective no matter what the topic.

It doesn't matter what our preferences are.
The S2000 is a much more nimble and fun to drive car versus the 350z roadster.
While the Z has more torque, it has so much more weight...it just feels heavy and is not as exciting to drive on twisty backroads. The Z has numerous motors operating the top and visit Z forums to read of the issues you'll encounter with the convertible top. The Z transmission is garbage in comparison to the s2000 geaarbox.
To be fair to the Z, it excels at highway driving. More comfort, better ride, it feels more planted. I bought my Z because I drive a lot of interstates every day. I was going for the G35, saved money by buying a loaded 350z.
So what do you plan on doing with the car you buy? Only car? highway travel? Quick run to the store or friends house?
Just know this...neither car has much in the way of cargo space.
Good Luck with your decision.
