Default What price should I offer '07?

Guys,

There is this dealership (non honda) who has a 2007 (Feb. 2007) S2000 with about 14.5K miles. Dealer asking price is about 24K.

What should I ask for OTD price? I am in CA, so there is a 8.25 % tax.

I looked at KBB but don't care too much for it. I recently sold my 350z roadster for dirt cheap. Since KBB never take economy, etc into consideration, it doesn't matter.

TIA,
tnt

price seems pretty fair, as long as the car checks out.. inspection, car fax, etc.

2005's from carmax with like 20-25k on the clock are going for around 22900-23900.

being the economy in its not so amazing state.. you can probably get a good OTD on it.

You probably have 1-2k wiggle room. If it was an SUV they'd probably pay YOU to take it

Well you should go check it out first. $25K doesn't seem like a bad price. But you know what they say about things too good to be true.

I've had been to private dealerships where the S looks fine. But upon closer inspection there were many things wrong. I would examine the car head to toe first. Looking for missing VINs, repaints...things of that nature. Sometimes the salesperson doesn't know whats wrong with the car or he just doesn't care.

Good luck man.

I just paid 25,999 for my 07. It came with Invidia N1 exhaust and K&N cool air system, and just over 12Kms.

If the car is in good condition, that's an excellent price!

I paid $25k for my '06 with 4500 miles on the clock. I got a good deal on my trade as well.
