do you guys have tickets for the race already? Im not sure im going all weekend and don't want to pay $95 for 4 days only to use one.. thats the only option I see for friday on the website.

I always buy them at the gate. The stands are usually a desert so I wouldn't worry about running out of seats...lol.

Yea, I always buy at the gate but im normally there for just the main race days. Was just trying to get an idea of what it was going to cost for friday vs the whole weekend. Don't know about you guys but I won't be sitting in the stands, never have lol.

I like to sit at turn 1. I don't stay there for the whole race, but I usually start and end the race there.

I guess you could probably see the whole track from up there? I usually don't focus on trying to keep up with the race as its near impossible without using the IMSA app and headphones or AM/FM headphones to listen to the broadcast.. More about the experience of being there.

I usually stay in the stands for the start and end of the race. During the race I browse the infield and will sometimes sit at a few of the corners. Plus before the race, the Rolex cars and Ferraris are usually out.

I believe the Friday tickets are $20 + $10 if you want the garage pass. Last time I went there was a bunch a confusion with the "sentries" and I ended up not being able to go on pit row before the race because I hadn't purchased a garage pass. I'll probably go ahead and grab one this time.
