It was rough / boring to drive the truck without the intake and exhaust. Now that I removed the sub and amp, this truck has no soul.

Guys. I had to report this one to the forum. We have a manager in town from Japan today, and I was showing her the photos of the S2000 and the Bear visitor we had at Cars n Coffee. She recognized the bear and said it was very popular character at convenience stores right now, which was cool to know.

But then she said it... "Racing is not that popular in Japan."

My life is changed. Is this true???? How can it be?

Probably because it's not actual racing but more street racing stuff, JDM culture etc. My guess is that you have to be more involved with that group to see how prominent it is.

It all depends on who you ask! She probably has no background or interest in it. It's amazing how much you don't notice when you're not looking for it.

My thought(s).

Japan has a huge population for such a small area. While we see the Japanese racing/automotive culture as huge, it may well be a small amount compared to Japan's actual population.. Nevermind the fact that most of us probably only dig/look for automotive related information about Japan.
