Does anyone have a shop press available?
I may be replacing around 30 bushings of various sizes on a charger soon to save a LOT of labor costs. It'd probably need to be a minimum of a 12 ton press, though a 20 ton would probably be better. And if at all possible I'd like to just move it to my garage while the project gets done. I thought I'd ask, seems it'd be easier to move a 1-2 hundred pound press as opposed to the entire rear sub frame of the charger. :/
I'm hoping to avoid buying a press that I'll use for one project then likely never use again.

kk, I can swing 160ish on one. Check this link though, the 12 ton free standing one is 160, and the 3 ton bench press is 230. Awesome!

I'm in gville, but yeah I saw they had one, looks to be across from Harbor Freight. And I thought you had a truck. Hows the s2k tear down coming? If I end up having to do this car's suspension it'll be my nightmare, the full rear subframe may need to be pulled, along with potentially every single suspension bushing.

i did that to my old integra- I pulled all the suspension off and replaced the bushings with polyurethane. it was time consuming but it was worth it. i used the hydraulic press they had at the hobby shop on nas jax. it made the car handle like crazy. I am planning on eventually buying the powerflex usa bushings for the s that is why I was looking to get a press. It costs less to buy a press than to pay a shop to press the bushings out.
the teardown is going okay- I keep running into snags (like I thought i would). i had to spend another 350 dollars on random things today (clamps, couplers, bolts, studs, heatshield ect) this thing is taking all of my money. I found out I ordered a lot of parts that were supposed to fit but don't so I had to order replacements.
the northern tool is next to the advance auto parts on atlantic (between regency mall and 9a)
