Default Gutted intake?!

Anyone here have a gutted intake box? How about a snorkel? Any heat wrap or something to put inside the box after the middle is cut out?

I current run a gutted intake but im trying to find a way to make it run better or atleast more efficient! Some power wouldnt hurt.

The stock intake is actually very well designed. You will probably not notice any improvement, whatever you do.

I have an AEM V2. As long as you don't drive into any large puddles on the right side you have nothing to worry about. The Comptech Ice Box is really good as well.

I used to have a Spoon snorkel -- I didn't really notice any difference at first, but when I removed it to sell it, I felt like I lost some top end, esp. at speed.
