Found what appears to be a pretty good deal on a 2000 model with 111k miles down in St Johns county and am ready to pull the trigger barring any surprises from the PPI. It's a little rough around the edges and appears to have been driven hard so I definitely need to have a thorough inspection done before moving forward. Already did a preliminary test drive and visual inspection but it was last minute and I hadn't done all my homework on exactly what to look for.

I found a few posts regarding this but they're a couple years old so wasn't sure if everyone's still around. If anyone knows of a good shop or mechanic I'd really appreciate a recommendation, otherwise I will just take it to the dealership by the Avenues. Thanks in advance!

I would not take it to honda. Most of them have never worked on a s2000. If ray drake Redline S2K is not busy he would be a good person to look it over. Or try Dustin https://www.facebook.com/BakerBuilt/
