this is just a small threadjacking
pic of sleevs at 89mm bore on my 2.7

the cylinder walls are no issue, I have almost 5000 miles on this, 2k from driving to the dragon, and on pump gas.

It has got to be Hytech, that is my guess.

Also, he is in Cali, thus 91 octane. The highest CR you can run on that safely is 12 something and his old set up was 13:1. He has got to be running 14+..

4bang6 is 13.2:1 compression. runs fine on 93 octane.
It would run on 91 aswell minus a few degrees of timing.
