Default AEM EMS

My car is equipped with AEM EMS and I need new keys made. I have heard that it disables the factory engine immobilizer. I would like to know if I still need factory made keys with the programmed transponder chip to start my car. Thanks in advance.

You have no immobilizer. It's built into the stock ECU so no stock ECU no immobilizer.

yep, you can use a standard key, no need for anything special.
