fuel pump? Do you have forced induction? If not, that's a serious waste of money.

No, I dont. But do you really think so? John over at inline says my injectors are pretty much maxed out and that he would never just tune with a fuel pressure regulator and no need to spend money on injectors because you dont know how to big to go. He said with the fuel pump ill get about 10psi more fuel to play with in tuning. So, i dont know it goes in tomorrow

What mods do you have? Tons of guys are running I/H/E and VAFC without a bigger fuel pump. I just don't see the need, especially on an MY00 that is rich from the factory to begin with. How does he know your injectors are maxed out?

Was he standing under a tree when he told you this?

Hah, no he wasnt standing under a tree but honestly ive never heard of anyone running a bigger fuel pump either on a I/H/E set up either but i really feel like the guys at inline know what they are talking about. Plus, he's giving me a really good deal on the pump and install. If it gets me 2-3whp out of the tune than im satified but i dont know i guess we'll find out tomorrow just how much it really helps. As far as my mods all I have is a T1R 70mm Titanium exhaust V2, a gutted air box w/ k%N, J's racing SPL header, and VAFC-2. For the injectors he also said and i think ive read a lot too that honda likes to have the injectors run at full efficiancy/maxed out from the factory.

sweet setup bro, very interested to hear your numbers. Hitting close to 230 is very doable. The noise you're hearing is noticible after the header install. The oem header is heavier and has thicker walls that drowned out those noises before.

I'm waiting until I get my new clutch in (mine is slipping at redline shifts) and then I tune. It's kinda exciting to hear everyone's numbers with 70mm and j's header

I remember that sideways maxed the stock injectors with 360 hp at the wheels...

bigger fuel pump is a waste of money if you do not have forced induction.

I agree with Turbo_pwr

i also just installed a header on my car and have a question , not trying to jack this thread but i was wondering something . at 6k its not as noticable going into vtec , like when i used to hit the gas it was like an explosion of vtec , now its just smoother throughout the whole rpm band . should this be happening? or should i take the header out ?

I think its because of the increased midrange torque and power so the transition is smoother.
