after market pulleys
OK so everytime I search about aftermarket pulleys, everyone says its bad cause they don't weight the same as the stock.
Is this a myth or is it true? Reason why I'm asking is I replaced my idler pulley and my tensioner pulley due to noise of the bearing being worn, at least i assume... now i feel i'm getting noise again... could be the tct whalso which i replaced with a ballade sports one 2 years ago. I'm just tried of battling ticking and squeeling.
Any feed would be cool.
Thanks

This thread should be moved to under the hood or aftermarket section. Was the tensioner a brand new OEM part? You can replace the OEM bearing in the tensioner pulley(about $10-$15), I think someone posted a replacement aftermarket idler bearing on here.
As far as light weight pulleys, I covered this subject in this post pretty well: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo.../#post24433727
