I've done my homework with the sound files I have saved in my "favorites" section and would like to get perhaps even some more info from the ever-so-lucky Amuse owners out there.
Basically my concern is about the sound levels from both a single R1 and the dual R1.
I recently acquired a slightly used R1000 from a fellow S2k'er and I figure this thing is just about as loud as it gets without not running an exhaust at all.
I definitely don't want people (or police for that matter) to hear me approaching from say 5 miles away. This exhaust makes that happen with ease.
So, owners of the single and owners of the dual, as Ben says the dual is just about as perfect as it gets for duals in regards to hp increase (+4), legendary weight savings, and a nice deep tone.
Its also about $400 more than the single, but as the single goes, its not as pissed off sounding like the R1000 is right? And if so, its not something you're gonna hear from miles away and piss off the neighbors with correct?
I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, I'm just stuck in this limbo temporarily.
There are two versions of the single R1, resonated and non-resonated. The resonated is less loud and have heard that it sounds really nice. Then there is the non-resonated which is louder and meaner.
Ah ha, I suspected there might have been a resonated single assy out there but I believe on Bullet's website they just have a single R1 unit as it doesn't specify whether this is resonated or not.
I also figure the single and dual are both 60mm with a 100mm burnt tip right?

Haha... wow, either you bought that brand new, or the previous owner never "drove" his car. On my R1000, the piping is almost completely blue, and it only has about 4K miles on it.
