Yeah, the previous owner took really good care of his ride I'm sure, and I've driven the car a few hundred miles since this was installed. I'll be curious to see what it looks like when it comes off.
You just gotta love how titanium changes color with heat and exposure.
The same thing happens to our turbines on a jet engine as the material used is titanium. Awesome stuff.

Hmm... my R1000 piping is pretty blue all the way down. The canister hasn't changed color (and I don't expect it to). IIRC, I've only a couple of track days on it, and I'm guessing that's what blued the piping.
Highrpmek, don't worry man. I should be seeing the R1 arriving here very,very soon. You are the first who wanted to have dibs on it and soon you shall.
So I'm going to be calling a friend up to help me install that puppy and get the R1000 off and ready to ship to you.
I'll be talking to you shortly after the other unit arrives. So if you have the finances ready, I'd say you'll have the exhaust in less than 2 weeks time.
