you would be amazed about your car it's not actually running lean it's running rich. From the factory these cars are pig rich adding the usual I/H/E my 06 still ran quite rich below vtec point when it switches it leans out then richens up again.

the Stock ECU on the 06 is super adaptive and compensate even more than the older version AP2 and AP1. i would strap your car on a dyno or get a wideband and log some values so you know if you are running lean or rich before you purchase a VAFC
