Is it really just a drop in a go? I already have the hondata toda flash, but with a comptech header. I wouldn't mind doing a back to back dyno theres a dyno across town that only charges 50 bucks for 3 pulls or an hour your choice.

The only thing that makes the process a little more difficult is that to install the cam you have to back off all the valve adjusters, which means you then have to do a valve adjustment after install. Whats holding me up is to effectively adjust the valves the car needs to be stone cold.

You don't have to take off the adjusters.

I did this mod, and I added cam gears at the same time. I did not do back to back dynos, but I made about 3-5 more peak HP than cars with similar mods on a dyno that has had hundreds of S2000s on it for comparison.

There is talk of using the AP2 exhaust cam in the AP1 F20C for a gain.

If you look at the measurements on the ap1 and ap2 exhaust cams they are so similar that I think the gain would be pretty minimal. I could be wrong though.

After you do what DeathSled suggusted you should get the Hondata Reflash which will allow you to rev to 8600 rpms and really take advantage of the ap1 cam
oh you know what, being able to rev over 8000rpm is probably crucial when installing the AP1 cam. I bet it picks up no power below 8000, but can maybe produce a little more power than the AP2 intake cam from 80000-9000.

Installing it on a car with a stock ecu is probably a waste come to think of it.

We'll see what happens after the dynos
