Has anybody installed the ASM radiator overflow tank? The Japanese instructions seem to say to cut the hose by 1.5cm but I can't see why that's necessary. Any ideas?

I've bought 2 ASM radiator/oil catch cans from Go Tuning, no instructions with either one. You shouldn't have to do anything to install the radiator catch can, just put the red sticker/install red zip tie in the middle of the level gauge(where the coolant level should be on a cold engine).

Jack with regards to the ASM bumpsteer kit, isn't it the same thickness as the Spoon one? Could the Spoon bumpsteer/solid bushing kit be used with the short ASM Bar?

No, Spoon is 15mm and ASM is 20mm thick. Spoon has recessed/enlarged holes for the Spoon rigid bushing kit at the top and a raised collar at the bottom. The raised collar design limits movement of the steering rack.
