i just acquired an ASM S-Special Type-T Exhaust 60mm Dual Stainless from a good buddy of mine, and it has resonator rattle. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if they have any solutions?

I heard problems about this before. That a piece of something in the resonator is breaking off causing it to rattle.
I also heard about this in J's racing exhaust 60mm
Not sure never had any of these exhaust systems but heard from my friends about them

 

i wonder if ASM will take care of this issue, or if im going to have the resonator split and repacked.

 

wow... ASM rattle on SS? I thought this was a Ti problem only.

 

I am having this same issue with my 08' ASM 70mm as well. Less than 1k miles.

This is a huge problem.

No I am not running a test pipe.

This sound started appearing after 300 miles. So much for ASM quality.

 

I wonder if they'll take care of this also.

Mine is rattling also. 08' SS 70mm single.
