What sort of rattle are you guys talking about? what rpm? accelerating or decelerating?

You hear it more when the car is on decel. (around the 2500-3300 range), but you also hear it when you get accelerate , but it goes away after you go above 4000RPM, but im not 100% sure on that since the engine sound might be covering up the rattle.

Ah ok that is clear now..

I have 07 ASM SS 70 but I never hear any rattle..

I only can hear buzzing noise when I'm shifting up after hard acceleration..

I think the noise could be the rattle from the stock cat casing or test pipe (if you have test pipe).

i dont think it would be the cat, i think i would have heard it with the stock exhaust.

no problems with my 07 70mm stainless so far. it might be fun to cut your resonator out and replace it with a straight pipe. videos please

Yikes. My 08 SS single is holding up okay so far. I've never had resonator rattles in my 60RS or T1Rs, but my Amuse dual and Mugen both had this problem.

When I say "happens a lot" what I meant to say is happens more than it should. I think I remember someone saying the newer versions of J's (FX) are less prone. It happens in the primary resonator, between the CAT/test pipe and the tail exhaust. Mine happened at 3400-4000 RPMs, and hard deceleration (from high RPMs) very annoying for a daily driver. cost me 200-250$ to fix, well worth it for a $1000k+ exhaust.

I have no problem as well with my 07 ASM SS with cat/TP

I'll keep on observing if anything changes. What does the rattling sound like? Is it on acceleration/deceleration?

For me the rattling happens when I slowly rev the engine at stand still to about (4-5kRPM) and when released the buzzing/rattling sound appears.

It basically sounds like a Pinto with a broken exhaust....
