any updates on those replacement resonators?

 

They will be coming in our next container shipment from ASM next month. Hang in there guys, we'll take care of you.

Not yet, after further investigation, ASM is completely revising the resonator design and holding off on sending us the replacement resonators until they are confident they've resolved the issue. Bare with us guys, we'll have them as soon as they become available.

edit: Just spoke to ASM after I posted this reply. The prototype of the revised exhaust has be completed and is currently going through testing for durability. We hope to have it on the next shipment arriving later this month but it depends on how their tests go.

Unfortunately they've hit another delay... We've been waiting patiently for a while now too. Hang in there guys...

fyi, out the the 30+ exhausts that have been sold, there have only been reports of broken resonators from less than 3 people. Most cases we actually the exhaust hitting the rear lower subframe so PLEASE check that if you are hearing something.

 

yeah.. my little arm resinator is vibrating on the side of the exhaust tunnel.. i was betting that was the noise most people are ocmplaining about..

 

^ I know this is an ASM thread (sorry), but I believe I may be experiencing the same "resonator arm" problem that s2k dude is experiencing with my Amuse R1 Titan. I'm guessing this is more or less a rattle to live w/ huh? I have yet to diagnose it w/ 100% accuracy, but I feel fairly certain that is the "root of the rattle".

 

Ultimate racing here, which uses magnaflow (used those mufflers for last 4 vehicles), no rattle. Can't imagine how mad I'd be paying ASM price and getting that kind of quality. Especially ti which is NOT cheap to have someone weld on.
