Baseline Dyno
^^ The ap2 flywheel is heavier since the gearing leaves the car a few hundred rpm out of vtec on the 1-2 upshift. The heavy flywheel helps keep the engine speed up as much as possible. The CDV then buffers the transition from the low gear speed to the higher engine speed by slipping the clutch.
When you do the clutch, just get an ap1 flywheel. It is about 4lb lighter and is plenty light enough to give a performance boost without making the car hard to drive. Plus, being oem Honda it fits well. The next lightest flywheel is half the weight of the oem ap2 flywheel and would make launching and shifting gears more difficult.
220hp on a DynoPack is about normal for an ap2. On a DynoJet you would probably see 205-210whp or about 200-205whp on a DynoDynamics.
HvRRZ...was your 240hp using Church's DynoPack?

My thought is that I'd lose something as most parts seem to be built for stock dynos of 190-205 when there's something obviously different about my engine.

negcamber - yes it was on churchs dynopack a while back. I know his reads higher then most, but even he told me my car dynoed higher then what he usually gets out of S's.
Just for comparison.. i dynoed 233.6 hp and 172.4 tq w/ berk header and testpipe. Stock intake.
Dynapack as well

So a roller dyno causes a 20hp loss?
That's pretty rough, how would you be able to tell if it was an improvement when you installed any part? That 10hp gain could just be that your tires are gripping the rollers better...

^^ The roller is part of it...but a DynoPack is not whp...it is hp at the hub. The wheels/tires are removed. That rotational mass makes a big difference for a roller dyno.
