Hey S2Fire, your thoughts are interesting to me. How do you know the T1R outperforms the J's. Did you happen to dyno it, also, if it's a mere 1-2 whp, wouldn't the added weight savings for the J's make up that differential? I'm not at all doubting your feelings, you would first hand a lot more than me, I'm just curious. I too am debating between the J's and T1R 70mm exhausts for a pure track car.
I have been to the dyno with AJ PwR and other S2000 owners together. Ben(AJ PwR) dynoed his car with the T1R 70 and it made 5whp more over his T1R 63 exhaust and when he dynoed the J's 70RR, it was only 3whp over his 63mm setup so 2whp less than the T1R.

J's definitely have the better quality and one of the lightest exhaust. I love titanium too . My point is, if you have the money, go for the J's but if you want to spend less money to get equvilant performance (or something close) then go for the T1R 70R.

Yeah S2Fire, thats what I figured, I am going with the T1R mainly because I think the J's 70RR would be too LOUD for everyday driving. Someday, I'd like to retire the car to a weekend track car, in which it would be stripped and recieve a nice Titanium exhaust for weight savings. Thanks for your input, it's always appreciated.
