Probably not until the ratio of "knowledge on the topic at hand" to "willingess to post observations" increases a little

Also believe it or not ITBs make more HP and TQ with a properly designed chamber (plenum) over them then if they are just open to ambient.

Not only that, you can tune them completely with the map sensor and forget about the Alpha N. Notice how the plenum on the C West car actually allows the map sensor to be used in the same manner as the factory intake manifold. This makes the car about a million times easier to tune and way more driveable.

I don't think the map sensor on the C West car is actually doing much. Since the sensor is upstream of the throttles, it'll probably always read atmospheric pressure.

correct.

IT does however provide a control point for initial fuel trims for start up.

Even the stock ECU looks at the MAP voltage on a stock car just before you hit the start button.

This tells the ECU what the ambient air pressure is for your given location.

If it wasn't built with asthetics in mind, then why the gay-papa-smurf-blue-painted valve color? All I'm simply saying is, it looks sofa king ghey.

As for the fact it being an induction box, not an intake manifold.. I said that it reminds me of the CTAE. Lame.

And regarding my sig.. it's a custom rally light bracket I had designed for a night AutoX Series we had in Atlanta last year. It incorporated 4x Hella FF200 Xenon Driving Lights with one-off 55w Hella Ballasts I had designed. I'm an engineer for Hella, so literally, it was all for shits and giggles.. nothing serious about it at all.

Ya'll need to relax and take it down a couple of notches with your "JDM Communism" bullshit.. lol. "OH it is SOOO not an intake manifold.. it's actually a carbon airbox... NOOB" lol, Yea, you're cool

Yea... my bad I didn't notice how cool it was!!!
Well you use those "lights" you made for function correct because they aren't the prettiest looking things; that induction box is also for function although you see it as ugly it is functional like those lights.

Disclaimer I am not trying to "hate on you" or anything just trying to see if you agree?

Sorry, but that is an absolutely ugly-ass engine bay. lol.

That is a hideous blue, it looks just old and faded..

And that intake manifold reminds me of:

It's the same color as three-quarters of the car in your sig.
